Onsite Consultation & Written Quotation

After our first contact for kitchen renovation in Sydney, we will oversee your kitchen design and thoroughly go through every single option available. We first will start with the design. Our leading kitchen designer will run through with the different transformations to suit the area that is being worked on. He will describe to you different types of bulkhead styles, cabinetry positioning and designs to suit any angle or area including shaping of the new kitchen to be installed. The designer then will bring forward the mobile showroom consisting of all materials to use within the kitchen, which consists of:

Bench tops – The wide range of bench tops the designer will present include Laminated Bench Tops that are of the Standard range where the thickness standard is 33mm. Then the deluxe range of Quantum Quartz and Caesar Stone bench tops are brought forward, the thickness of these products can be modified from 20mm to 150mm to suit any customer’s requirements. The range of different colours and patterns are too in the packs.

Doors/Faces – Doors and faces come in different finishes starting from the basic laminated doors where the patterns and colours are endless. The Polyurethane finish is available where any dulux can be used and matched 100%, which makes the selection for the customer much easier and exact. The finishes come in High Gloss, Semi Gloss and Satin. The vacuum formed doors which are of compressed thermolaminted vinyl are also available in a lot of colours and pattern ranges. Solid Timber doors are also available. The name is self-explanatory i.e. the doors are made of Solid Timber and they can also be sprayed of Polyurethane as per the customers choice of colour and/or a clear lacquer is sprayed to gloss the finish timber look.

Splashbacks – Tiling is the standard of the splashbacks where the best procedure for tiling is for the customer to pick any type of tile colour and pattern personally, provided the choice is either of exact match or a feature finish towards the rest of the kitchen. CaeserStone/Granite too is used as a splashback being the mid-range of the three. Again the colours can be matched exactly to the choice of the Benchtop or it can be used as a feature or a contrast to the rest of the kitchen. The stone masons can assist in covering any angle and shape with stone without a single problem. That being said anything is possible with using stone as the splashback. Glass is the final step of the kitchen when all the positioning of GPO are confirmed and everything has been installed the Glazer steps in with the wide range of colours and samples to provide a better range of understanding. Measurements are taken to exact standards and the installation of the Thickened/toughened glass is then carried out.

Appliances – Badel Kitchens and joinery have good relationships with the major companies Bing Lee and Winning Appliances, where it has helped us to gain better offers on all appliances of high range i.e.: Beaumatic, Blanco, Westinghouse and Miele. A wide range of integrated appliances are also available to meet the customer’s needs.

Demolition

The demolition team at Badel will then carry out your required demo. The walls and floors will be stripped naked. Stripping of all paint work is then done. Rubbish is always removed by Badel Kitchens. All rubble and rubbish is disposed off properly and carefully leaving the work site rubble-free to ensure a safe working job-site for the days to come.

Preparation work

Brickwork/Carpentry- Kitchens sometimes have minimum space to use, which is not a problem for our team. The team at Badel Kitchens has high-exp carpenters and bricklayers that can assist in moving any walls or partitions that are needed, re-bricking can also be done. Sometimes there are small areas to work with, which we usually change to a wider working space. The Badel Kitchens designer will run through with the customer and carpenter what could be done. And the possibilities offered would be endless. Expansions and extensions are possible in nearly every house hold, choosing what should be done and how to is a breeze with the experience at hand at Badel Kitchens.

Plumbing

Our experienced plumber will be side by side with the designer throwing in his 2 cents on every job involved. He will also give you ideas on re-arranging certain things within the kitchen and go through all possibilities to make sure that your changes are feasible, fit and functional in the space. Our work will include checking and renewing any plumbing or drainage to accommodate your new sanitary items for your new kitchen design. We will also advise you on quality of each product you chose throughout.

Electrical works

Our electrician is one of the three Brothers that direct and manage Badel Kitchens. Being an experienced and licensed electrician he will be with the team and the customer step by step forwarding any new lighting and connection possibilities throughout the job. He has a wide range of ideas for every job he tackles. He makes the electrical side of the renovation a breeze. All internal wiring is chased if needed and new ports and plugs are all installed to your and/or the Badel Kitchens teams desire.

Plastering

To ensure the smooth finish and face of the areas that needed re-rendering our Plaster team will ensure that the spot that has been transformed looks un-touched and perfect. Gyprock is applied for a perfect finish, smooth and flush wherever required. Any areas that are in need of water-proofing or paint are also prepared to the best standard to make everyone’s job a lot neater and easier.

Painting

Painting is carried out by a team that has done all the painting for Badel Kitchens over the years. The highly skilled painters have more than enough skill and motion to provide the best finishing touch to all jobs. The motivation they carry towards their work is a matter of absolute pride as their work is more than a job to them, it is an art. This makes them the perfect team for the job(s).
